Using gentle Japanese Acupuncture we work with patients, of all ages, with a broad range of clinical presentations.
Alan Jansson, our principle practitioner and founding director has vigorously taught and trained 100’s of acupuncture practitioners in this style of Acupuncture, trusting that their patient’s to will benefit from what this ancient art of healing has to offer.
During his career, Alan has presented, convened and hosted more than 100 Traditional Japanese Acupuncture workshops in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Portugal, Italy, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
Our team at Australian Centre for Natural Medicine have all dedicated themselves to the study and practice of gentle Japanese Acupuncture.

Alan Jansson
B.Ac (Acupuncture)
Alan Jansson, founder and director of the Australian Centre for Natural Medicine, is an internationally recognised teacher and practitioner of Classical Japanese Acupuncture. In clinical practice for 38 years and still counting, he is driven by a strong desire to use gentle Japanese Acupuncture to benefit all who seek his assistance.
Naomi Jansson
BHSc, MAppSc (Acupuncture)
Naomi is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing and Masters of Chinese Medicine in Acupuncture.
Naomi provides gentle Japanese acupuncture services.
Owen Formosa
BHSc (Acupuncture), Dip. REM
Owen Formosa provides Gentle Japanese Acupuncture services at Australian Centre for Natural Medicine since graduating in 2014.
Owen specialises in Sports Performance and Classical Japanese Acupuncture.
